Coronation Ball

Mandatory event for Royal, Big, and Little Court members.
The final celebration of the festival is the Coronation Ball. The reigning Royal Court, Little Ladies-in-Waiting, Pages, Princesses, and Lieutenants are presented. The announcement of the new Royal Court, which consists of the Queen, Queen Alternate, and Captain, is the highlight of the evening. This formal black-tie event beautifully depicts the history, tradition, and honor of the Lunar Rendezvous Festival.
Big Court & Presenter Event Attire:
- Princesses are required to wear a pure white, floor-length, formal ball gown with no train or bustle, with white opera gloves. The beading on the gowns shall be minimal and may only be silver or iridescent beading (no color) or accents. Princesses MUST submit a picture of the front and back of their gown for approval by the BCC. White or silver evening shoes or ballet slippers shall be required for Princesses. No nude-colored shoes. Hair accessories shall be approved, but tiaras and headbands are not allowed under any circumstances.
- Lieutenants are required to wear a tuxedo consisting of a white formal shirt, black tuxedo trousers, black vest, black bow tie, a solid white dinner jacket with no trim, color, or design, a black pocket square, black dress socks, and black formal shoes.
- Female presenters and female escorts should wear long gowns and be discouraged from wearing white.
- Male presenters and male escorts are required to wear a tuxedo consisting of a black dinner jacket and matching black trousers, a white formal shirt, a black cummerbund or black vest, black tie, white pocket square, black dress socks, and black formal shoes. No hats are permitted.
Little Court & Presenter Event Attire:
- Little Ladies-in-Waiting wear a white formal dress, approved by the LCC, the provided festival tiara, and white satin wrist gloves. White or silver low-heeled evening shoes or ballet slippers shall be required for Little Ladies-in-Waiting. No nude-colored shoes.
- Pages are required to wear a tuxedo consisting of a white formal shirt, black tuxedo trousers, black vest, black bow tie, a solid white dinner jacket with no trim, color, or design, black pocket square, black dress socks, and black formal shoes.
- Lunar Rendezvous sashes and lapel pins are not to be worn.
- Female presenters should wear a long gown and be discouraged from wearing white.

Royals Event Attire:
- All Royals wear sashes.
- Queen wears a royal blue floor-length ball gown with no train or bustle, white opera gloves, and her tiara.
- Queen Alternate wears a silver floor-length ball gown with no train or bustle, white opera gloves, and her tiara.
- Captain and King wear black tuxedos consisting of a black dinner jacket and matching black trousers, formal white wing tip shirt, black vest, black bow tie, white pocket square, black dress socks, and black formal shoes.
